Volunteer for Dubai Cares Campaign

Dubai Cares, a UAE-based philanthropic organization launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been striving hard since its inception in 2007, to improve children’s access to quality primary education in developing countries.

In collaboration with major organizations such as The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Care International and the UNICEF, Dubai Cares implements integrated primary education programs in 35 countries and communities. After having organized successful community engagement campaigns like “Rebuild Palestine. Start with Education.” the annual “Walk for Education” and “Volunteer Emirates 2015”, Dubai cares is now working towards the 3rd and last edition of Volunteer Emirates in October 2015.

The final edition of Volunteer Emirates 2015 will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Salma Al Ansaria Primary School For Girls in Dubai. Dubai Cares is looking for 100 volunteers to join their team on the day and help them with the following activities.

  • Assembling chairs and desks
  • Drawing murals on the school walls
  • Assembling recreational toys
  • Support in the installation of computers

If you’d like to volunteer for Dubai Cares campaign, you can register by completing an Application Form available on the Dubai cares website before October 11, 2015. Dubai cares will be selecting volunteers on a first come first served basis, hence it is advisable to apply at the earliest. Selected volunteers will be notified of their selection by Tuesday, October 12, 2015. The supply of materials related to the activity as well as F&B will be provided by Dubai Cares.
