Parent Communication and Support

DBSJP firmly believes that parent-school communication is vital for building an effective partnership. Most parents are eager to know about their child’s learning and performance in school from time to time. Dubai British School Jumeirah Park plans to address this need by interacting with parents on a regular basis through various channels of communication.

  • The school’s monthly newsletter, social media and website will be used to communicate information to parents.
  • Teachers will also email parents to inform them of up and coming events.
  • At the start of each half term, curriculum information will be sent home for parents to support their child’s learning.
  • Curriculum workshops and information meetings will be hosted for parents to help them understand how the school operates.
  • The school will also have an inclusive parent group that will be actively involved in events and school activities. The forum provides families a great opportunity to get to know each other and offer mutual support.
